Colors of Spring3 - Tomato Puree

This is the third installment of the Silver Canyon's Blog post of the Colors of Spring Pantone color palette series. http://silvercanyons.blogspot.com. Tomato puree is sort of a warm pinky-red color - these were the closest items I found in my own collection to match it:

Turquoise and it's related shades are certainly my favorite, and here is the first installment of a series some of my teammates and I are doing based on the Pantone color chart for spring. This color goes with pretty much anything and can be worn year round! new treasuries~

I recently have been really enjoying making treasuries - picking a theme and then adding amazing items to flesh it out.It is also a great way to feature the great jewelry of my fellow Jet team members. Here are a few examples:

daring to be luxe

Here is a new necklace that I just made - I have a stash of vintage components just dying to be used up and this one inspired me the other day, plus some gorgeous citrine beads I came across. The luxe style is pretty big right now and I thought that I would buy into it just a little but with my own twist thrown in. So here is the result! Also made a pair of semi- matching earrings.

New Artfire Account

I just opened an Artfire account - you can click on the icon on the right hand column of this page to go directly to my shop. So far I only have a few items there -a few from my Etsy shop and a few unique items. I will keep adding as time goes on. Check it out and let me know what you think!

new necklace design

I am starting to work with copper again and it is really fun! When I started out doing this many years ago I did alot with copper and twisted wire shapes but then drifted away from that. Now that copper is having a resurgence in popularity (and it is less expensive than sterling!) I am drawing upon some of my old designs and adding a few new elements in. This is the first piece I have made along these lines and you should be seeing many more in the future!

I just downloaded a new program that helps you capture pictures on your computer screen- I haven't mastered it yet but here is my first attempt! I listed this treasury in the previous blog post but figured I would use it as my practice image. More attempts with other treasuries will follow!
